I want a flexible tongue to say everything the mind thinks. And sometimes it's bright and swift like lightning, And sometimes sad as a steppe song, And sometimes like the lament of a mint nymph, And sometimes beautiful as the speech of angels... So that it can fly through all the spirit on its wing. The verse should be tactful, not bridle-like.

Important documents

To enroll your child in school, you will need a "School-Home Contract" (signed by the guardian and the child) and a "Student Registration Application." These documents can be downloaded below or collected and completed on the school's first day. Your child must be enrolled in person to confirm that there are available places in their age group.

We are learning
Read what we learn during Saturday classes.

Readings

Reading is incredibly important in any language, and that's exactly what we're learning in our Saturday classes. Polish letters can sometimes be difficult, and when reading, "c" can get confused with "k." We read aloud not only in class but also individually with Ms. Agnieszka. Reading with Ms. Agnieszka in the youngest classes is great fun! She has a ton of books tailored to each student's reading ability and age.

Writing

In addition to reading, we also learn to write at the Polish School. In the early years, we learn letters like ą, ę, and ł, draw patterns, learn to write fluently, and strive to develop beautiful and legible handwriting. In the later years, we learn grammar, spelling rules, exceptions, and parts of speech! In preparation for GCSE and A Level exams, we write essays and compositions.

Correct pronunciation

Correct pronunciation isn't as easy as it may seem, especially when living abroad. In class, we talk a lot and learn to pronounce syllables, all sounds and consonants, clearly and precisely. Teachers also pay special attention to correct syllable stress.
